Métiers d’Art koleksiyonunu 4 Aralık’ta Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) içinde tanıtacak olan Chanel’in izinden giden Versace de bir ön koleksiyonu için ilk defilesini New York’ta düzenleyeceğini duyurdu. Defilede Versace’nin, kreatif direktörü Donatella Versace tarafından tasarlanan, sonbahar 2019 ön koleksiyonunu tanıtılacak. Defile henüz açıklanmayan bir yerde, 2 Aralık günü akşam 7.00’da gerçekleştirilecek. Tarih aynı zamanda 15 Temmuz 1997 tarihinde hayatını kaybeden kurucusu Gianni Versace’nin doğum günü olduğu için marka için özel bir anlam da taşıyor.
Following in the footsteps of Chanel, which will present its Métiers d’Art collection in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met) on December 4th, Versace has announced a runway presentation in New York, its first show for a pre-collection.The show will present Versace’s pre-fall 2019 collection, designed by creative director Donatella Versace. The runway will take place in an as yet undisclosed location, at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd, a special date for the brand, as it’s the birthday of its founder Gianni Versace, who passed away on July 15th, 1997.

The American model, Kendall Jenner — who also featured in the reality TV show — “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” — is back fronting another campaign for the Chinese ready-to-wear brand Ochirly. She is joined by star model Bella Hadid. This isn’t the first time that Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner have fronted Ochirly collections. The brand previously signed up the pair for the fall/winter 2017 and spring/summer 2018 seasons, which is no mean feat considering how in-demand these two models are.

Puma is strengthening its ties with the luxury fashion industry via a new collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld. The focus of the collection will be Puma’s Suede 50 sneaker, which celebrates its 50th birthday this year and has been the subject of multiple creative collaborations over the past few months. Lagerfeld’s take on the shoe comes in the form of two different unisex styles inspired by his own personal uniform of a black tuxedo, white shirt and sunglasses.

Private equity Clessidra has hired Rothschild to look into the option of finding a minority partner for fashion group Roberto Cavalli to help fund growth, two sources familiar with the matter said on Monday, confirming earlier press reports.

Axel Keller is going from strength to strength at Jil Sander. He has taken over the CEO role from Alessandra Bettari, who in turn was appointed vice-president of the Onward Luxury Group (OLG), the European subsidiary of the eponymous Japanese group which, besides the German label, also controls Moreau and Charlotte Olympia.
